…Peter White has been conquered! XD Anyways, I must admit that I might have enjoyed this route more than I enjoyed Blood’s route. lol Like I said in my last post, I followed a Japanese guide for Peter’s route and successfully got to the end. ^^

One thing I must say. I feel like Peter is the best match for Alice at this point. haha But that’s just my opinion. lol After I finished his route, I went on a forum on mangafox that shed some more light on what was being hinted at in the game and I must say, I was glad I read it. Many things that happened in the game started to make sense. I feel as though in order to be able to connect the dots like those people in the forum, you had to have played all of the games with all of the characters and endings (good or bad) because if you don’t, you don’t end up getting the whole picture. :D Very well thought out by QuinRose though, if that’s what she was going for. 

Well, anyways, about Peter’s route… He’s too cute. >///< Irresistible. lol I just found his devotion to Alice so cute because he’s so cold to everyone else. Hm… I can’t remember if I had a favorite scene since I loved all of them in general… Oh, I do remember in the beginning of the game, Alice is quite cold towards Peter and that would always make him sad… and then my little sister and I would glare at the computer and plead that it wasn’t our fault that she was making him sad. LOL And then as the game progressed, she’d still be sort of cold towards him and we’d be like, “Stop being so mean to him and admit that you like him already.” We concluded that Alice was some sort of a tsundere. LOL

So the end… Well, just like in Ace’s route, she has to decide whether or not to go back home or stay in Wonderland. And then the scene changes to her sitting with Peter and omg… he started crying! TwT My inner fangirl was squealing. He was soooo cute. Okay, enough about his cuteness. He was afraid that she was going to leave him and stuff. And then she started to cry too! Hehe Anyways, towards the end of Peter’s route, there were a lot of things hinting at what happened in Alice’s world but Alice would never remember because Nightmare would always prevent her from finding out. Thank goodness I decided to quench my curiosity by reading those mangafox forums that I mentioned earlier… or else I would have died from the curiosity. With this newfound knowledge, scenes from not only Peter’s route but also from Ace’s route and Blood’s route made more sense. Of course, there were more scenes like that in Peter’s route than in the other two in my opinion since Peter is one of the ones who is deeply involved in Alice’s coming to Wonderland.

So yep yep. I am a Peter White fangirl. I think I like him the most with Alice at this point. haha But we shall see… I still like Julius with Alice so he’s who I will be playing for next. Until next time~! :D

Hello! :D Finished the Ace route today. As I expected, I wasn’t much of a fan of him, but you know, I had to indulge my little sister’s inner fangirl. haha Either way, the thing we both agreed on (after going through the Blood route and Ace route) is that we are both absolute Peter White fans. LOL I don’t know how that happened but when you take the other people routes, he starts growing on you… ^^;; And then he’s soooooo cute! >///< I don’t know why… and it’s not just those bunny ears. Maybe it’s just the fact that he’s so devoted to Alice no matter who she chooses to love? TwT

Anyways… the Ace route… Well, since I’m not much of a fan of him, all I can say is that Ace… is hopeless (in a cute way). lol As in, he will never be able to find his way anywhere EVER. Hehehe I can’t say I have a favorite scene with him since I was just going through the motions of clicking while my little sister absorbed what was going on. However, my favorite scene that I saw through this route was with Blood and a drunk Elliot. XD Now THAT was the most hilarious thing I’d seen all day. lol Anyways, I payed more attention to how it ended and I must say, it wasn’t as interesting as the end to Blood’s route. I suppose it makes sense why Ace wouldn’t appear to prevent you from going back and that Alice herself would decide unlike with Blood’s route, but yeah, like I said, I wasn’t as interested in this route. As we were nearing the end, my little sister and I had both converted to Peter White fangirls by then so we were trying to rush through it. lol Plus, Ace’s route was even more annoying to get through… I mean, the 60 turns of just Blood was bad enough in Blood’s route, but 50 turns plus an additional 60 turns of just Ace got really tedious.

Yes, yes, like I said in my last post, we followed an English guide for this one as well (more specifically, rindtron’s livejournal English guide for Ace). Although I don’t know if it was the English guide that had some error in it or I stopped seriously keeping track with the turns, but I did get a little lost in the middle for a bit (and that’s not including my mistake of choosing the incorrect choice with a Nightmare scene and having to go back to the last save point. It occurred after I rectified that mistake ^^;;). With my 5 years of Japanese, just like last time, I just read through the special events instead. ^^;; Seriously, there is so much to read that I’d rather just listen to them talk while following the text than reading any of Alice’s dialogue and thoughts which aren’t narrated by a voice actor. 

Haha, and I must say, we have already started Peter’s route. XD No English guide so we’re just following a Japanese guide. Didn’t translate it through Google Translate since it’s just easier for me to read it in the Japanese that it is in. It’s not that hard to look at since it’s in the same format as the last two English guides that we used.

Well, anyways, I shall post our adventures with Peter White once we finish! :)

Hehe, yes! My little sister downloaded the otome game Heart no Kuni no Alice by QuinRose after I was fangirling over the movie. :D I mean, I did read the manga but it didn’t satisfy me at all, especially after hearing Blood’s characterization was different in the game. XD I mean, I am a definitely Julius fan but I did like Blood. So… I played for Blood Dupre. :3 Mafia boss ftw? 

Anyways, I did follow quinnorosenoalice’s livejournal English guide (which didn’t really translate anything from the game - just let me know who I had to talk to how many times in order to ensure a perfect happy ending). Yes, yes, the game’s in Japanese. Even with my 4 years of Japanese in high school and 1 year of college-level upper division Japanese, it was hard to get through the game because ALL of it is reading dialogue. I did skip (and sometimes skim) through Alice’s thoughts and most of her dialogue in favor of the other characters’ dialogues since they actually talk so even if I am unable to read some of the kanji, I’m able to understand what they are saying. lol Only on the special event scenes did I bother to carefully read Alice’s thoughts and dialogue. I mean, it wasn’t that bad with the kanji but it would have taken a while to read if I had sat there and read through everything. I must warn you - it is a LONG game to get through. I mean, 300 turns? Yeah… haha Anyways, it was an interesting game. At times, it did get a little boring since you have to go through so many turns per phase, but it was a rewarding experience overall. ^^ 

And I must say… I am an official Blood Dupre fangirl. ^^ Of course, Julius Monrey will always be number one to me, but yeah… Blood was so cute. :3 Especially towards the end with the ball, I really liked the first ballroom scene over the second ballroom scene with the Jealous!Blood scene! Hehe And of course, the scene where Alice is choosing between returning to her world or staying in Heart no Kuni and then Blood appearing out of nowhere to stop her from going. Now that was a totally “kyaaaaa!” scene right there. lol However, I have sort of developed a soft spot for Peter White. :’( The two choices given at the ball for accepting that he has romantic feelings for you and rejecting him versus the rejecting his feelings and telling him that they aren’t romantic feelings… I didn’t like the second choice because you’re basically manipulating him so he’ll stay away from you. sigh I did try both choices since I wanted to see both ballroom scenes with Blood but I liked the first choice because it was more cute (yeah… Peter… why you so cute?), I suppose… and it led to the ballroom scene with a very jealous Blood. Nyehehehe.

Anyways, the Blood route was quite an experience for me. ^^ For my little sister’s sake, we are currently going after Ace. I’m not a fan of him as much but she’s a fangirl of his, so here we go. lol We’re using an English guide for him as well… In the near future (after we conquer Ace lol), I will be going after Julius, Peter, and Nightmare. XD Definitely. Makes me wonder what happens if you take the Vivaldi route… I mean, she’s a girl and since this is an otome game, it’s not like it’s going to be some sort of a romantic ending with her. Maybe Alice ends up going back to her own world and accepts the reality that she has been rejecting in her mind? Although I do have a good idea as to what she is refusing to accept (*cough* sister *cough*), but yeah… Or maybe there is no such thing as a Vivaldi route? Highly doubt it since she’s on the “heart measuring thingy.” It’d be interesting if the game did give us more details than the manga. Or maybe I should go read the manga for the individual characters… ^^;;

Anyways, after Heart no Kuni no Alice, maybe we’ll try Clover no Kuni no Alice? XD
